Were your holiday cards store bought, handmade, online, TBD or MIA?

I don't even know what TBD or MIA mean - is that 'Tuberculosis deviation and Missing In Action?

I sent two lots of cards - one charity cards  bought from door to door sales people from the charity and the second lot were store bought.

Who do you want to be caught under the mistletoe with this holiday season?

Very boring I know but I'd say my husband as we've both been so busy I'm starting to miss him. In a husband-less world I would say Johnny Depp.

What was your major or field of study in college? Did you wind up working in that field or using that degree? If not, what field have you wound up in?

I did a BA majoring in Chinese (Mandarin) and although it's not really a vocation in itself I did successfully use the degree to get a job in University admin which was great - would love to go back to that some day. My second degree was an MTeach majoring in Chinese language and History and I use that to work as a temporary teacher, am loving teaching too but am not sure if this it 'it'. I think I've used both degrees quite well actually despite my mother's and several of my colleagues' protestations that I'm an underachiever.

If you could get everyone in the world to change their behavior in one way, what would you have them do differently?

I'd have everyone pay if forward i.e Everyone would greet the people they walked by with a smile, take the time to help another down the stairs at the station or on an escalator at the shopping centre, step in and help another when they are obviously in a situation where they needed help. Community awareness!

Where is the farthest you have ever been away from home? Did you get homesick?

The farthest I've been away from home - not distance wise but anyway - Beijing 1994. Although I'd been there before this time I cried all the way there as I'd left my 6 month old baby behind with my husband and family in order to complete a compulsory field trip for my degree. I cried on and off for the entire first week of my 3 month trip and came to fully appreciate what it was to be a mother and away from my child. I felt as though I'd travelled to the farthest reach of the earth and would never want to do that again.

Are you a good dance or do you have two left feet?  What's your signature dance move?

I consider myself a good dancer - I dance as though no-one is looking and give it my all. Dance is an expression of what you're feeling and when you've a skin full and have the opportunity of an empty dance floor (or even a square metre of dancefloor) you should let loose and show the world what you're made of! You know when I've had a skin full and have that precious square metre of dance floor when I start doing the Tina Turner quick foot. When that happens there's nought you can do but wait for me to stop.

Should driving while talking on a cell phone be outlawed?

If talking on a cell phone means actually holding the phone while driving then yes but if you have an ear piece or can speak hands free then it's the same as speaking to a passenger and there's no way you can outlaw that.
